UPPCO Energy Efficiency teamed up with Alexis Dahl, a U.P. science journalist, to produce a four-part video series about the benefits of heat pumps. Throughout the series, she’ll break down what a heat pump is, how it works, other ways it can be used (hint: for more than just heating and cooling!), and exactly how one works in sub-zero temperatures. Despite its name, a heat pump can heat AND cool, making it an efficient and cost-savings option for controlling the temperature in your home or business. How efficient? Try 100-400%.
