TEMPORARY CLOSURE PLANNED FOR PRICKETT FISHING PIER WEEK OF AUGUST 21ST
CLOSURE REQUIRED TO SUPPORT PLANNED FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS
Marquette – Upper Peninsula Power Company (UPPCO) is announcing the company’s fishing pier facility at Prickett Reservoir will be temporarily closed to the public on Monday, August 21, 2023, through Friday, August 25, 2023. The closure is required to support planned maintenance and facility improvements that are being completed by UPPCO.
Maintenance activities are scheduled to occur between August 21st and August 25th – Monday through Friday. UPPCO is also reminding the public to be safe whenever recreating near the company’s hydroelectric facilities and to obey all posted warning signs.
